How did we succeed in organizing the 2025 Peura Trail?

23.10.2025

Thank you for your responses to our feedback survey. 37% of the participants gave their valuable time and responded. Your feedback helps us to further develop the event.

Last year's feedback survey highlighted two areas for improvement: route markings and terrain descriptions. Based on the feedback, we were very successful in improving the route markings, as evidenced by the rating of 4.7/5.

There is still room for improvement in the terrain photography. We have now finally realized the unique technicality of our terrain and we will highlight it in the terrain photography and in the marketing of the event. Peura Trail is the most technical trail run in Finland!

We received excellent ratings for communication (4.67), event center services (4.67), and maintenance (4.55). The best rating of all was for the atmosphere of the event (4.78), and we are especially proud of this!

Below are some public feedbacks from participants. Thank you very much for these!

Trail running in its truest form. (51 km)

Good organization, scheduling of departures was a snap, I didn't have to run alone, there was a lot of people the whole time. (13 km)

A challenging and focused route. After this, no flat route will scare you! (37 km)

A proper challenge that felt amazing to overcome thanks to this well organized event! (23 km)

A small warning for those who are not familiar with the terrain of the Peuranpolku trail – even though the elevation differences are small, the rocky terrain makes it really challenging. I recommend practicing running on rocks beforehand, you will thank yourself for it. -Juho, first-time Peura Trail runner- (37 km)

Peura Trail – Where Dreams Go To Die. Before the start of the run, I still had big plans. After the first five kilometers, everything was forgotten and the rest was about surviving perhaps one of the most technical terrains in Finland. If you want to challenge yourself, Peura Trail is the right option for you. (51 km)

A wonderfully relaxed and diverse event. There were trips and activities for all ages and levels. The fun and encouraging route markings on the routes helped us continue our journey with a smile on our faces. (Deer hike 17 km)

So far, the most technical route of the 121 Finnish marathons/ultra-marathons, although not as hilly. A nice challenge and the long distances are starting to feel nice! – Ironmagpie (51 km)

Really cool terrain in NJ (51 km)

A wonderful and well-organized event that I will definitely be going to! -Crete (13 km)

Challenging route, tough trip, but such a wonderfully organized event! Everything worked 100/100, except my leg 😀 (51 km)

An excellently organized race and beautiful terrain – worth participating, as long as you're not afraid of an unlimited amount of rocks 🙂 -MA (23 km)

A great event in stunning scenery! It was worth going further. Pirjo (6 km)

The terrain was challenging, the maintenance was excellent and the route markings were first class! (23 km)

A well-organized event – the routes offer challenges in the form of rocks and the atmosphere is encouraging and good! (23 km)
