Exciting new developments here in Finland's southernmost wilderness!
Families and children are sure to be interested in the event that will be held alongside the trail running event. Moomin camping school, which arrives at the scene the real Moomin trollThe Moomin-themed outdoor event for the whole family is organized by Maaselä Latu, which is known for its high-quality activities and many successful events.
We are expecting 1,000 visitors to the Moomin Hiking School to participate in the activity stations, learn hiking skills with the Moomins, and enjoy the offerings from the campfire kiosk.
Peura Trail has two new series this year. We received a lot of requests to organize an ultra-distance race. We accepted the challenge and this year we offer: The 51 km long boundless Great Lake.
The route offers a wilderness ultra experience without the pain of big hills. More than 10 participants have already registered. There is still room for more.
Another new series is 13–17 km Deer hikeYou can choose the length of the route you want to hike at your own pace. Hikers will be transported to the starting point in the morning.
The route offers the most beautiful scenery on the Deer Trail and many beautiful stopping and resting places. The first participants have already found their way to this new journey.
The last new feature concerns a delicious matter, namely the service station service. This year we are launching a service station service Date buffet – reportedly the first trail run in the world.
Dates are nature's own energy candy, with a composition and nutritional content that are perfect for providing energy during long sports activities. Dates are available in three popular flavors: unflavored, licorice, and sour.
