Juuso Simpanen's training programs for Peura Trail
Juuso is one of Finland's most well-known and successful trail ultrarunners. In addition to himself, he also successfully coaches other top Finnish runners.
Juuso has prepared detailed training programs for all Peura Trail trips. The programs can be followed as is or used as a framework and adapted to your own individual training.
To support the training program, Juuso has designed a strength training program tailored specifically for trail runners, as well as instructions for body care.

Strength training
Juuso's strength training, designed especially for trail runners, is designed to be done in the gym. The workout includes jumps and movements that can be done with free weights or on equipment. The workout focuses on developing strength levels in the legs and core.
Instructions for body care
Juuso's training programs include rest/body maintenance days. For these days, Juuso has planned a body maintenance routine that works all the important muscles. Juuso also provides instructions on tube rolling.

In the app, you can exchange thoughts and news with other users about Peura Trail, Juuso's training program, or trail running in general.
