New for hikers and Nordic walkers! The length of the route is 13 or 17 km, depending on your choice. There are several rest and campfire sites along the way: 1.4 km Kirves-Heikki campfire (+dry toilet), 3.0 km Poskeinen campfire (+dry toilet), 3.1/6.5 km Hiljentymistuvan campfire, 4.3/7.7 km Ahveroinen lean-to, 8.4/11.8 km Mustan lean-to (+dry toilet).
Departure takes place from Kuivajärvi rental house. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the path that follows the beach.
A shorter route option runs from the two points between Kuivajärvi and Iso Kotajärvi, over the Kirves-Heikki Canal before turning north.
A longer route option goes around Lake Iso Kotajärvi and also visits the shore of Poskeinen.
You bypass the lull. In the rolling terrain, you pass Särysjärvi, Ahveroinen and Saarijärvi.
You will enjoy the pine trees for a while on the shore of the beautiful lake called Musta. After the black log cabin, the journey hastily turns along winding needle paths.
The route is varied. There are no steep uphills or downhills. A few rocky sections pose a challenge.
