You can start your journey from the historic Mäntyjärvi log cabin. The path continues to Rapakkolammi, where you wade for a while in a knee-high swamp.
Before reaching Raatejärvi, the path encounters several challenging rocks, where you have to place your feet carefully. You can admire the wilderness of Raatejärvi from the long walks along the shore.
Soon you will feel like sitting on the long trees on the shore of Koukkunen to admire perhaps the most beautiful lake view on the route. However, you will continue your journey to Kuivajärvi, preceded by a rocky section of path and a short road crossing.
The ridges surrounding Kuivajärvi and Iso Kotajärvi offer magnificent views over the lakes. Towards the end of the journey, the route joins a 13 km route.
